LED Strip Lights Installation Steps

1.Test the Strip First: Connect the LED strip to the power supply (and controller, if applicable) temporarily to check if all LEDs light up properly. This helps identify defects before permanent installation.

2.Apply the Strip: Peel off the protective layer from the adhesive backing and press the strip firmly onto the prepared surface. For uneven or outdoor surfaces, use additional clips or mounting brackets for extra security.

3.Secure Connections: If extending the strip or connecting to a power supply, use compatible connectors (avoid soldering unless you have experience). Ensure connections are tight to prevent loose contacts or short circuits.

4.Avoid Overlapping: Do not overlap sections of the strip, as this can trap heat and reduce lifespan or cause overheating.
